The Lexus GX 470 is a new midsize luxury SUV. It features standard V8 power, excellent off-road performance and the latest luxury and safety features.

The standard GX is a five-passenger unit, with generous front buckets and comfortable accommodations for three across the 60/40 rear seat. Cargo space is close to 50 cubic feet, but this can be dropped to 13 by ordering the third-row, three-person, 50/50 seat (which includes rear climate). The last row can be folded against the side windows or easily removed for maximizing space, and it has ample room for kids or adults who shop in the kids' department. A Sport model joins the lineup that includes the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System, smoked bezel headlamps, foglamp trim, black pearl emblems, a chrome license plate garnish and exhaust tip and alloy wheels with a dark graphite finish. Inside, the Sport features black bird's eye maple wood and graphite metallic trim. Other GX option changes this year include an upgraded navigation system with better graphics and additional functions, Bluetooth compatibility and voice commands for the climate control, audio and navigation systems. All models also receive a more powerful V8 engine good for 270 horsepower (up from 235).
